While the journey Elizabeth Zott (Brie Larson) takes from working as a chemist to being a trailblazing TV star is the center of the Apple TV+ limited series Lessons in Chemistry, an equally compelling part of the show is her neighbor Harriet Sloane (Aja Naomi King), who’s fighting a battle of her own to protect her community from discrimination and destruction.
