In David Mackenzie’s Relay, Ash (Riz Ahmed) works as a go-between for whistleblowers and the companies that want to find an amicable resolution rather than risk protracted legal action. His latest contact is Sarah (Lily James), who only communicates with Ash via a speech-to-text relay service but quickly develops a close bond with the mystery man who is her only hope to achieve any sense of lasting safety.
