2026 Costume Designers Guild Awards Ceremony held on February 12 in Los Angeles, CA at The Wilshire Ebell Theatre
Costume Designers Guild Awards honored the creativity of the top costume designers in Hollywood!
Thursday’s evening event announced winners across various categories in film, television, short form costume design and costume illustration.
The 28th annual Costume Designers Guild Awards was held at The Wilshire Ebell in Los Angeles, California where well-deserved awards and honors were handed out to the costume designers behind some of your absolute favorite television shows and films. Some of which being: One Battle After Another, Frankenstein and Wicked: For Good, while on the TV side, awards went to The Studio, Palm Royale and Andor.
Special homage was paid to the late Catherine O’Hara by way of costume designer Kameron Lennox “The Studio.” Lennox shared she and assistant designer Tyler Kinney were wearing some of the late star’s jewelry that night in her honor.
Bulgari served as a strategic partner and introduced a new edition of the Guild’s iconic statuette, The Adrian, as well as dressed Hudson, Cole, winner Paul Tazewell and presenter Jodie Turner-Smith. Tracee Ellis Ross, Paul Feig, Katherine LaNasa, Janelle Monáe, Diallo Riddle, Samba Schutte, Damon Wayans and Sasheer Zamata appeared as additional presenters. The Young and the Restless actor Courtney Hope hosted this year’s ceremony, and the costume designers guild presented several stars (Teyana Taylor, Kate Hudson, James Cameron, and Michelle Cole) with special honors during Thursday’s night ceremony.
Costume designers of highly recognized shows Frankenstein, Wicked: For Good, and One Battle After Another took home the top awards of the evening. Avatar and Titanic James Cameron walked away with the Distinguished Collaborator Award and Song Sung Blue star Kate Hudson received the Spotlight Award. One Battle After Another star Teyana Taylor was honored with the guild’s Vanguard Spotlight Award, and the Career Achievement Award was presented to multiple-Emmy-nominated costume designer Michelle Cole.

Of course, there wouldn’t be a red-carpet if stars didn’t show-up dressed to impress — and they certainly did. As for a few fashion highlights of the night, here goes just a few notable red carpet showstoppers including Teyana Taylor (Vanguard Spotlight Award Honoree) in Tamara Ralph couture, and Kate Hudson (Spotlight Award Honoree) in Valentino.
