He served as one of the main creative forces behind the second iteration of Jury Duty, bringing Amazon’s brilliantly elaborate prank show to a company retreat hosted by a family-owned hot sauce company—leaving viewers once again laughing and asking—how did they pull that off? The answer lies in a lot of hard work, heart, some luck, and a leap of faith—and has earned King a much-deserved return to the Emmys for writing the episode, “Mergers & Acquisitions,” which brings the entire carefully constructed season to a climax.
