Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones has remained a leading actress and a beloved star in Hollywood over the past few decades, but now, she is most excited to defy public expectations with her gritty, new role as “Jackie Price” on the AMC+ series, Kill Jackie.
The new action-thriller follows a wealthy art dealer with a drug kingkin past, who seems to be unable to leave her previous life behind. With Zeta-Jones also executing producing this 8-episode Kill Jackie story arc, we sat down with the well-known industry creative to discuss the ways this new character has allowed her to work a different acting muscle compared to past projects, how she relates to her on-screen “no filter” character and reveals what she is liking most about the modern ways of Hollywood lately, as well as what she misses from the ways of moviegoing when she first began her acting career.
Zeta-Jones also opens up about her ongoing career trajectory, her decision to take a break to raise a family and how she has ultimately earned her way to have a say on productions today.
