October 25, 2024Enemies in the first season of FX’s The Old Man, Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges) and Harold Harper (John Lithgow) are now on the same side, both trying to do whatever they can to save the woman they both consider to be a daughter (Alia Shawkat) as she seeks answers from another father figure, Faraz Hamzad (Navid Negahban). New complications and threats emerge as she probes her identity and the past continues to catch up with these three old men.
Awards Buzz spoke with Shawkat about identifying the different parts of her character and how she refers to the character alternately known as Angela, Emily, and Parwana.
