When he hires an eccentric new cook, Floyd Monk (Peter Sarsgaard), the balance of power begins to shift in interesting and unexpected ways.

Awards Buzz spoke with Magnussen about how he views his character and the exploration the film offers of hypocrisy. Watch the video above to hear about his working experience with his costars, as well as offscreen reflections from Sarsgaard about making the film.

COUP! opens in theaters on Friday, August 2nd.
