In director Christine Jeffs’ A Mistake, Dr. Liz Taylor (Elizabeth Banks) instructs one of her registrars to participate in a routine surgery. When he does something wrong, Liz soon begins experiencing the fallout as her colleagues and the public look for someone to blame for something that she continues to insist didn’t impact the outcome of the surgery.
