In the Apple TV+ series The Studio, everyone is trying to get to the top. While fast-talking Sal Saperstein loses out on the newly-open job of head of Continental Studios to his friend Matt Remick (Seth Rogen), he’s living large when every winner at the Golden Globes chooses to reference him, boosting his ego as part of a running joke that is rooted in complete randomness.
Awards Buzz spoke with Barinholtz about the trippy experience of filming the Golden Globes episode and feeling like he was actually at an awards show. Watch the video above to hear his reflections on being part of the show as well as working behind the scenes on the Netflix series Running Point.
