In Nobody Wants This, young rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) and podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) meet and, against their best efforts, fall for each other. This budding romance does not sit well at all with Noah’s sister-in-law, Esther (Jackie Tohn), who’s particularly perturbed since Noah’s previous girlfriend, Rebecca (Emily Arlook), is still her best friend.
Awards Buzz spoke with Tohn about how she doesn’t think Esther is mean but instead that she’s just doing what anyone would expect for a friend in this kind of situation.
