In the seventh episode of season two of Severance, “Chikhai Bardo,” the relationship between Mark (Adam Scott) and Gemma (Dichen Lachman) comes into very clear focus as they meet and experience heartbreak, followed by a dizzying series of splintered moments that make it impossible for Gemma to remain tethered to any sense of the present moment.
