In director Josh Greenbaum’s Will & Harper, comedian and actor Will Ferrell reunites with his friend Harper Steele, a former writer for Saturday Night Live, after she writes to tell him that she has transitioned and they decide to embark on a cross-country road trip so that Steele can experience America as a woman for the first time with her good friend by her side.
Awards Buzz spoke with Greenbaum about his own preexisting connections with both Ferrell and Steele and how the film first came together.
