In The Pitt, charge nurse Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa) steers the ship over the course of a harrowing and intense emergency room shift, and experiences an unexpected and truly crippling blow when an irate patient waiting hours for treatment takes out his fury on her with a forceful punch.
Awards Buzz spoke with LaNasa about digging into Evans’ backstory and how that affected her portrayal of the character.
