Interview: Kerri Kenney-Silver on Keeping Anne Memorable and Central to the Story of ‘The Four Seasons’

In Netflix’s The Four Seasons, three couples reunite for what most expect to be a happy occasion only to see one of the theoretically most stable among them separate. Over the course of the year, all their relationships are tested, particularly Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) as she struggles to hang on to her friend group when her ex-husband Nick (Steve Carell) starts dating someone younger and forces her to create her own separate occasions to get together with their shared friends.

Awards Buzz spoke with Kenney-Silver about the chance to work with this incredible group of actors and to forge a pained but believable decades-old dynamic with Carell. Watch the video above to hear how pleased she is that Anne’s role is much more substantial than in the film and is sure to take on even more relevance in season two.

Season one of The Four Seasons is streaming on Netflix.
