In the Netflix series The Four Seasons, a remake of the 1981 Alan Alda film of the same name, three couples – Kate (Tina Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani) – navigate trying events and major life changes over the course of four seasons in one year.
Awards Buzz spoke with showrunners Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield about the very niche audience that is familiar – and obsessed – with Alda’s film and how it was updated for the current moment.
