June 10, 2024In Sherise Dorf’s film The Everything Pot, Rachel (Lisa Edelstein) is surprised that she and her husband Adam (Erik Griffin) have been invited to the wedding of her old friend Charlie (James Wolk). When she responds and even buys a gift right away, Charlie’s fiancée Clare (Delaney Rowe) begins to suspect that there’s more to Charlie’s history with Rachel than he’s letting on, leading to friction in both relationships.
Awards Buzz spoke with Edelstein, Griffin, and Gina Torres, who plays Rachel’s friend Gail, about their own practices regarding gift-buying for wedding and what pieces of the story they found relatable.
