In season two of Gen V, Emma (Lizze Broadway) is no longer cracking jokes and having fun while navigating a budding romance with Sam (Asa Germann). Instead, she’s taking out her anger on anyone in her orbit as he continues to figure out how to manage her powers and make the most out of being able to get small.
Awards Buzz spoke with Broadway about Emma’s powers and how they play out on set:
“I get the coolest practical stuff. They built me a huge beer can, I don’t know, eight feet. It was fully heated, which is privileged, one hundred percent. In episode four, when I’m coming out of the toilet, I literally was in the water for sixteen hours and they built a ramp, and I had to climb myself up. It’s one of those opportunities you don’t ever know if you’re going to get again with the practical effects. It’s pretty cool. And in episode two, the scene where I get big, they took seven weeks to build the archive room, like painted all the books. It’s really, really cool.”
Does she find all the craziness and nudity to be a lot? Not so much.
“It feels like a normal Monday afternoon. After I swung on a dick season one, I was like, okay, okay, this is insane. Seriously, even with episode four, I see an ass for the first time, on-set, I was like, this is just so frickin’ normal.”
Watch the video above to hear how Broadway is pushing just as much as Emma is for her character to finally get the threesome she’s always taking about:
“I have to say, if I don’t get a threesome scene by season three, I will feel personally attacked. I will send an email to my boss and be like, we need to have it. Season one, that’s all she ever wanted. Just give Emma a threesome!”
New episodes of Gen V premiere weekly on Wednesdays on Prime Video through the season two finale on October 22nd.
