In the Showtime limited series Fellow Travelers, Hawk (Matt Bomer) works within a highly paranoid US government in the 1950s and begins a decades-long affair with Tim (Jonathan Bailey). Throughout it all, Hawk maintains a particular public image and does his best to lead a traditional family life at home with his wife Lucy (Allison Williams).
