The Penguin is a spinoff of the most recent Batman movie, which doesn’t necessarily feel or look like the classic superhero’s world first created close to a century ago. The criminal underworld of Gotham City has its own vibe which requires a very specific soundtrack, a challenge gladly undertaken by four-time Emmy nominee Jen Malone.
Awards Buzz spoke with Malone about how she originally got into this business because of a Marvel Cinematic Universe project and how that’s led to her excitement with getting to work on this DC Universe show.
