The new Apple TV+ series Bad Monkey contains its share of colorful characters, all somehow related to disgraced former detective Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn), who can’t steer clear of a case that he’s supposed to forget. His best partner in his unauthorized investigation is coroner Rosa Campesino (Natalie Martinez), who’s great at her job but also isn’t opposed to taking a piece of clothing she likes from a body in her morgue who isn’t getting much use out of it.
Awards Buzz spoke with Martinez about getting to play this part and what she relates to most about Rosa. Watch the video above to hear how this show compares to her many past TV efforts.
The first two episodes of Bad Monkey premiere Wednesday, August 14th on Apple TV+, with new episodes dropping weekly on Wednesdays through the season finale on October 9th.
