In Presumed Innocent, prosecutor Rusty Sabich (Jake Gyllenhaal) is devasted to learn of the violent death of his colleague and mistress Carolyn Polhemus (Renate Reinsve), and barely has time to process his complicated grief before he becomes the prime suspect in her murder, prompting a sensational trial full of glaring conflicts of interest.
Awards Buzz spoke with Reinsve about playing a character who was dead almost from the start of the show and the intensity of the scenes in which she is still alive.
