Interview: Russell Tovey on John O’Shea, Ryan Murphy, and ‘Feud: Capote vs. The Swans’

There are many memorable characters in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, starting with Truman Capote (Tom Hollander) and the many women who surround him and come to hate him. But just as influential in Capote’s life – not usually in a good way – is John O’Shea (Russell Tovey), an occasionally charming but generally despicable presence capable of true cruelty.

Awards Buzz spoke with Tovey about digging into O’Shea and getting to work with the rest of the cast. Watch the video above to hear about his longstanding relationship with anthology series creator Ryan Murphy and past roles, including Years and Years.
