Scarlett Johansson on “I mean, I’ve worked with so many different kinds of directors and you know, the process is very excruciating. I really found this whole process to be really invigorating. I was interested in it all the whole time.”

About ‘Eleanor the Great’:

Scarlett Johansson’s directorial debut, “Eleanor The Great” promises to be a comically poignant exploration of how the stories we hear become the stories we tell. The film stars June Squibb as the witty and proudly troublesome 94-year-old Eleanor Morgenstein. After a devastating loss, Eleanor tells a tale that takes on a dangerous life of its own. The impressive cast also includes Erin Kellyman, Jessica Hecht, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Behind the scenes, the film is directed by Scarlett Johansson and written by Tory Kamen. It is produced by Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Lia, Keenan Flynn, Trudie Styler, Celine Rattray, Jessamine Burgum, and Kara Durrett.
