In the new Netflix comedy series Running Point, Isla Gordon (Kate Hudson) becomes president of the Los Angeles Waves basketball team, facing criticism from players, fans, and her three brothers, who all don’t have much faith in her ability to step up to the plate.
Awards Buzz spoke with showrunner David Stassen about infusing his love for basketball into a show that is much more about people operating in that world than just playing the game.
