In Sophie Brooks’ Oh, Hi!, Iris (Molly Gordon) and Isaac (Logan Lerman) go away for a romantic weekend together, and what could have been the wonderful start to a beautiful relationship quickly gets out of hand when some foreplay and a poorly-timed confession lead to an out-of-control night that sheds much more light on who these two people really are.
Awards Buzz spoke with Brooks about developing her second film with Gordon and seeing pieces of herself in the main character. Watch the video above to hear how she appreciates that this isn’t a black-and-white story with a clear sense of right and wrong and that that audiences seem to be eager to engage in conversation about both protagonists’ actions.
