Interview: The Cast of ‘Landman’ on Taylor Sheridan and the World of West Texas Oil

Taylor Sheridan, best known for Yellowstone and its prequel series 1883 and 1923, is back with his latest TV series Landman, teaming with Christian Wallace to adapt his podcast Boomtown. Billy Bob Thornton stars as Tommy Norris, a crisis executive for an oil company facing constant hurdles in his latest exploits throughout West Texas and within his own family.

Awards Buzz had the chance to speak with cast members Thornton, Ali Larter, Kayla Wallace, Paulina Chávez, James Jordan, Mark Collie, and Jacob Lofland about working with Sheridan and getting to know this world. The first two episodes of Landman are now streaming on Paramount+, with new episodes dropping weekly on Sundays through the season finale on January 12^th.
