In Overcompensating, Benny (Benito Skinner) arrives at college and isn’t eager to share a part of himself – that he’s pretty sure he’s gay – with his new community, and latches on to Carmen (Wally Baram), who is going through her own issues, to find a way to feel like he fits in.
Awards Buzz spoke with Baram about her very limited previous acting experience and how it felt to be on a set. Watch the video above to hear how she feels the themes of Overcompensating relates to ideas she talks about regularly in her own comedy.
