In Abbott Elementary, Mr. Johnson (William Stanford Davis) always shows up at the most unexpected moments with a hairbrained solution to some problem that allegedly comes from his many years working as a janitor. He’s irreverent, unpredictable, and completely hilarious.
Awards Buzz spoke with Davis about his character’s embrace of conspiracy theories and how he draws inspiration for that from his own childhood and family. Watch the video above to hear about getting to work with the rest of the cast, including the child actors.
