The Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences has revealed today the dates leading up to the 97th Annual Academy Awards, which will occur at the Dolby Theater on Sunday, March 2, 2025. As usual, the show will air live on ABC. After shifting the show up an hour in 2024, the Academy has decided to keep the Broadcast start time at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST. The ceremony will be made available in more than 200 territories worldwide.
Fun Fact: The 97th Annual Academy Awards will no longer overlap with SXSW after two years of overlap.
