In director Ali Abbasi’s The Apprentice, a young Donald Trump (Sebastian Stan) ventures into the world of business, stepping out from the shadow of his father (Martin Donovan) and under the sway of lawyer Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong). As he builds his empire, Trump meets Ivana Zelníčkova (Maria Bakalova) and decides that he’s determined to marry her.
