In Michael Weithorn’s The Best You Can, Cynthia (Kyra Sedgwick) is married to the much older Warren (Judd Hirsch) and starting to see signs of his decline, and that’s just when she happens to meet security guard Stan (Kevin Bacon), who’s going through his own issues, leading to the two striking up a very close and personal relationship.
Awards Buzz spoke with Weithorn about his concern not that his two leads might not have enough chemistry but that they might have too much to believably play people who don’t initially seem right for each other.
