In Alex Russell’s Lurker, Matthew (Théodore Pellerin) meets pop star Oliver (Archie Madekwe) by chance when he comes in to the clothing store where Matthew works. After they connect and Oliver invites him to hang out sometime, Matthew starts creaving the attention and refuses to let himself be boxed out of this new relationship, even if that invitation wasn’t meant to be a long-term thing.
