About “Hunting Jessica Brok”
Written by Garth McCarthy, David D. Jones, and Alastair Orr, the film stars Danica Jones, Anthony Oseyemi, Clyde Berning, and Richard Lukunku. The story follows Jessica Brok, a former elite Black Ops soldier living in rural South Africa. After being betrayed by an old ally and captured by a ruthless warlord, Jessica must escape a deadly compound to save her daughter. Forced to confront a wave of mercenaries, she must once again become the killer she vowed to leave behind. The film will be released in theaters on February 13.

Danica Tamaryn De La Rey (also Danica Jones) was born in the small city of Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. Her love of performance stems from humble beginnings in her living room, with family and toys as her first audience.

She is best known for her performances in Mbongeni Ngema’s film adaptation of Asinamali, playing the role of Soweto, an MK soldier, as well as the independent feature film, Aya, which was filmed in three days and graced many film festivals and many streaming platforms globally. She made her international debut, playing coach Paula in the Disney Film, Darby and the Dead. She plays the title role in the upcoming action thriller “Hunting Jessica Brok.”
