Interview: Aaron Moten on the Cinematic References and Physical Challenges of ‘Fallout’

One of this season’s most popular new series is undoubtedly Fallout, Prime Video’s adaptation of the video game of the same name. Aaron Moten stars as Maximus, a squire who becomes a knight in the Brotherhood of Steel in the postapocalyptic, retro-futuristic world of the show. It’s Moten’s most high-profile role to date following earlier parts in TV shows like Disjointed and Next.

Awards Buzz spoke with Moten about coming to the project without knowing much about the video game but with a passion for classic movies. Watch the video above to hear about the process of filming scenes and how the show’s popularity and its SXSW premiere have impacted his experience of starring in it.

Aaron Moten is eligible for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at this year’s Emmy Awards. All eight episodes of Fallout are streaming on Prime Video.
