His recent TV credits include The Sinner and the limited series Halston. Now, he’s tackling real-life killer Alex Murdaugh in Lifetime’s two-part Murdaugh Murders: The Movie.

Awards Buzz spoke with Pullman about the challenge of playing someone so publicly known and reviled where audiences would come in with preconceived notions about him. Watch the video above to hear Pullman reflect on his career and the roles he’s playing throughout the years.

Bill Pullman is eligible for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at this year’s Emmy Awards. Murdaugh Murders: The Movie is available to watch in two parts on Lifetime.
