Originally known for his Emmy-winning role as the gruff Roy Kent in Ted Lasso, Brett Goldstein has been a behind-the-scenes figure behind the latest Bill Lawrence series to delight Apple TV+ subscribers, Shrinking. No longer just a writer, Goldstein joins the cast for season two as Louis, the drunk driver responsible for killing Tia, wife to Jimmy (Jason Segel) and mother to Alice (Lukita Maxwell).
Awards Buzz spoke with Goldstein about this much gentler role and the decision to appear on camera. Watch the video above to hear about some of his less-known roles as well as his forthcoming movie All of You, which has been announced as coming soon to Apple TV+ since this interview took place.
