Resident Alien is an inventive sci-fi comedy about an alien who comes to Earth to kill the entire population but very slowly develops an affinity for certain humans. Alan Tudyk has the title role as the alien wearing the face of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle, whose main focus in season three, aside from getting to eat as much as he possibly can, is to help stop an invasion from a much deadlier alien race with the help of a few loyal friends.
Awards Buzz spoke with creator Chris Sheridan about some of season three’s big twists and particularly its cliffhanger ending that, as of this writing, still hasn’t been rewarded with a season four renewal.
