In Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, Thomas Hutter (Nicholas Hoult) is dispatched to Transylvania to get papers signed by the mysterious Count Orlook (Bill Skarsgård), who is actually a terrifying vampire with a haunting connection to Hutter’s wife, Ellen (Lily-Rose Depp).
Awards Buzz spoke with composer Robin Carolan about approaching this ambitious project and wanting to keep himself away from the music of the famous original.
