In Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2, Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) is selected for jury duty and finds himself conflicted about fulfilling his service when he realizes that he may very well have committed the crime. As he grapples with his guilt, he works to manipulate the other members of the jury into not finding an innocent man guilty while still trying to protect himself.
Awards Buzz had the chance to speak with screenwriter Jonathan Abrams about the inspiration for this story and the process of penning the script. Watch the videos above to hear how his far-fetched suggestion that Clint Eastwood be considered as a director ended up becoming a reality.
