In Hangdog, Tony (Desmin Borges) is very fond of his girlfriend Wendy (Kelly O’Sullivan) but not her dog Walt, and when she goes out of town for an important business trip, he’s forced to take care of the dog to show his devotion to her. Unfortunately, the pup quickly goes missing due to Tony’s carelessness and he has to go to extraordinary lengths to get him back before she returns.
Awards Buzz spoke with Borges about having a nonhuman costar and the appeal of this film. Watch the video above to hear him look back at his career, including formative roles in You’re the Worst and Utopia and his current stint on season four of Only Murders in the Building.
