November 14, 2024Peacock’s The Day of the Jackal is a new take on the Frederick Forsyth novel of the same name and Fred Zinnemann’s 1973 film. Starring Eddie Redmayne as a highly skilled assassin, the ten-episode series tracks his latest assignment gone awry and a British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) hot in pursuit of this elusive contract killer.
