More than two decades after its Broadway debut, the long-running musical Wicked finally arrives on the big screen. Aiding its spectacular transition are editor Myron Kerstein, cinematographer Alice Brooks, and VFX supervisor Pablo Helman, who undertake the task of enabling audiences to see the same glorious vision from every seat.
Awards Buzz spoke with Kerstein, Brooks, and Helman about the power of the closeup and the key differences between the stage and screen experiences. Watch the video above to hear about the ambitious nature of the project and its memorable color palette.
Wicked opens in theaters nationwide on Friday, November 22nd.
