December 2, 2024Things have only gotten crazier over the course of four seasons of The Boys, with the introduction of a few new characters, including new members of The Seven Firecracker (Valorie Curry) and Sister Sage (Susan Heyward) and Butcher’s old CIA pal Joe Kessler (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), to add further chaos to this superpowered universe. The last few minutes of the season don’t suggest an uplifting start to the show’s upcoming fifth and final season.
Awards Buzz spoke with Kripke about how close he’s stayed to the comics that inspired the show and how he responds to those who take issue with its political themes.
