In director George Nolfi’s Elevation, the only people left on Earth have to live above 8,000 feet to avoid the deadly monsters that live below them. Will (Anthony Mackie), Nina (Morena Baccarin), and Katie (Maddie Hasson) must risk going below The Line to save Will’s son, aware that they may not make it back alive.
Awards Buzz spoke with Nolfi about his own interest in science fiction and post-apocalyptic worlds and what technical limitations he considered in directing this film. Watch the video above to hear about his latest collaboration with Anthony Mackie following their work together on The Banker.
