About “In Our Blood”
This compelling project is a psychological mystery with elements of chilling horror, directed by Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Pedro Kos (Rebel Hearts, Lead Me Home) in his narrative feature debut.
The film follows filmmaker Emily Wyland (Brittany O’Grady), who, alongside cinematographer Danny (E. J. Bonilla), begins an intimate documentary about reuniting with her estranged mother after a decade. However, when her mother mysteriously disappears, potentially due to the addictions that initially fractured their family, Emily and Danny are forced to uncover increasingly sinister clues to find her before it’s too late. “In Our Blood” masterfully blends its genres to weave a twisted tale about confronting the ghosts of our past and examining our complicity in a world that often preys on the most vulnerable.
The film features a talented cast including Brittany O’Grady (Star, It’s What’s Inside), E. J. Bonilla (Gemini Man), Alanna Ubach (Euphoria), Krisha Fairchild (Penelope), Leo Marks, Bianca Comparato (3%), and Steven Klein.
