Searchlight Pictures’ Quiz Lady, which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and AFI Fest prior to its November streaming release on Hulu, is an entertaining portrait of two sisters who couldn’t be any more different as one prepares for a life-fulfilling appearance on a game show. The project comes from writer Jen D’Angelo, known for her work on TV movies like Hocus Pocus 2 and Totally Killer.
