Evan (Brian Jordan Alvarez) is the protagonist of English Teacher, but whenever his former colleague and ex Malcolm (Jordan Firstman) is around, it feels like he’s the main character in the story. While Evan’s relationship with Malcolm got him into some trouble with parents and the administration, the arc of the first season suggests that maybe they are right for each other after all.
