It’s been an eventful TV season for Kaitlyn Dever. She starred as Belle Gibson, the real-life Australian influencer who pretended to have cancer, in the Netflix limited series Apple Cider Vinegar and joined the cast of The Last of Us in its second season as Abby, a soldier intent on exacting vengeance on Joel (Pedro Pascal).
Awards Buzz spoke with Dever about how she knew that audiences might take issue with these characters but welcomed the opportunity to portray them.
