In the Apple TV+ series Dope Thief, Ray (Brian Tyree Henry) is in way over his head when his drug-stealing operation puts him in serious danger. Unaware of the specific gravity of the situation but hardly ignorant about how her adopted son spends his time, Theresa (Kate Mulgrew) remains loyal to Ray as she insists on continuing to live her life in much the same way.
