In The Pitt, Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) leads a team at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital emergency room through a fifteen-hour work shift. He’s still haunted by his own demons from unfathomable losses suffered at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and has his resolve tested multiple times as he encounters situations that he can’t control and people he can’t solve.
Awards Buzz spoke with Wyle about what prompted him to return to the world of TV medicine and how making television has changed in the past few decades.
